John Gough

My name is John Gough and I’m looking forward to being your course instructor. I’m currently a consultant for multiple, locally owned businesses and a co-manager for San Pedro Urgent Care. Over the last 7 years, I’ve made it my mission to learn as much as possible and take advantage of the information offered by professors, colleagues, and mentors. I’ve taken all the knowledge learned and have applied it to my personal and professional endeavors. Starting and managing businesses under a pandemic has provided me with the experience and insight necessary to succeed in business. I’m looking forward to the experience and challenge of teaching my students via this online platform. Finance and accounting are topics that cover a vast amount information, but these courses explain the most applicable aspects to entrepreneurs and small business owners.

Educational Background

My area of expertise is in finance and accounting. The focus of my undergraduate and graduate studies revolved around accounting, financial statement analysis, project management, family enterprise, financial projections, and inventory management.
